On this tour, we'll get to know the two most important museums in Holland, the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum, both with queue jump! To complete the experience, we will pass through the canals by boat, enjoying a meal on board.
The artistic tour begins in Museumplein, the museum square between the Van Gogh museum and the Rijksmuseum.
Our first stop will be the Rijksmuseum, the national museum dedicated to Dutch art and history. Just as with the Van Gogh Museum, we will also jump what are the occasionally infinite queues to enter. Sandwiches and a drink will also be provided.
Our guide will explain about the most important works in the museum's collection, such as Vermeer's "Milkmaid", or Rembrandt's "The Night Watch." The museum's collection contains over 8,000 works in total, over 80 galleries.
Leaving the museum behind we will embark on one of the boats which passes through the canals of the city. On our way we will find houseboats, churches, towers and a range of typically Dutch sights.
Having eaten to renew our energy, the tour visits the Van Gogh Museum, the most visited museum in all Amsterdam. Once inside (and having jumped the enormous line) our guide will explain to us the compelling life of the Dutch artist painting by painting, from his beginnings to the turbulent end of his life.
Having discovered the evolution of the painter, you will have free time to visit what is an interesting museum shop and to drink a coffee.
Leaving the Van Gogh museum, we make our way towards Coster Diamonds, one of the oldest diamond workshops in the city. There we will finish our tour, with a free ticket to the Diamond Museum, which you can use any day of the week.
