The I Amsterdam City Card is a tourist pass which gives you unlimited access to the city’s transport system and entrance to most museums and landmarks.

You can purchase the card I Amsterdam City Card for 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 days. The best-priced card is the 4-day one, like most travel cards.

Is it worthwhile?

If you want to visit Amsterdam’s main museums and monuments, then I Amsterdam is extremely worthwhile. If you discount the price of a travel card, the 72-hour I Amsterdam card is less than €16.50, which is a little more than what an entrance fee for one museum costs.

If you want to skip the queues, you can purchase your I Amsterdam Card online. 

You can also get your card at tourist offices and in some hotels.

The busiest tourist offices (if you arrive by plane or train) are the one in Terminal 2 of the Schiphol Airport (Holland Tourist Information) and the two in the Central Station (one on track 2 and one outside the station).
