Haarlem, Volendam, & Zaanse Schans Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet at De Ruijterkade in Amsterdam. Are you ready to see some of the most beautiful and iconic places in the Netherlands? Let's go!
We'll leave the Dutch capital and head to Haarlem. In this famous town, we'll take a guided tour through its picturesque historic center where we'll see its canals and the Grote Markt, with its stalls selling traditional products. We'll also stroll through its famous golden alleys, admiring its medieval facades and buildings such as St. Bavo's Cathedral. Did you know that its organ was used by Mozart?
After the tour of Haarlem, we'll return north to visit the beautiful Dutch town Zaanse Schans, on the banks of the River Zaan. Here, traditional 15th-century houses and the famous windmills await us! We'll also visit a clog factory.
Next, we'll stop at Volendam, where the local cuisine takes center stage! You'll have free time for lunch and to discover this beautiful fishing village. We'll visit the shops specializing in cheese and biscuits, which are a real treat!
Finally, we'll finish the tour by returning to the meeting point in Amsterdam, arriving around 8 hours after we started.
